Instructional Technology & Design Tools This was my first class on my path to becoming an instructional designer. This will be a second career for me, I have been a classroom teacher for the last 25 years and I am ready for a change of pace. The program is very regimented which I was not expecting (it is predetermined the order and timing of classes). I enjoyed getting my feet wet and exploring some different facets of instructional technology and I am looking forward to learning more as I move through the program. The biggest challenges I faced were district lockdowns on both my computer and network for all blogging sites and website creation sites. I am having to go to my husbands office at night in order to complete a lot of my work. I enjoyed the assignment where we had to talk with a group, it was cool to actually login and see faces and discuss the material.
